Abstract
This research explores the profound interplay between puppetry as an art form and the transmission of historical values in Tegal Regency. Through a comprehensive investigation of puppetry performances, this study unveils the intricate ways in which historical legacies are portrayed, preserved, and inherited in Tegal's cultural tapestry. Examining the impact of puppet art media on societal perceptions, the research sheds light on the role of puppetry in shaping collective memory and fostering a deep connection with the region's rich historical heritage.
