Psychological and Pedagogical Mechanisms of Developing Tolerance in A Multicultural Educational Environment

This paper examines the specific features of developing tolerance as a personal quality within the contemporary educational process. The relevance of the topic is driven by the growing need to cultivate tolerant consciousness in a multicultural society. Systematic work aimed at developing tolerance leads to statistically significant changes in the structure of personal attitudes and reveals a direct correlation between the level of education and the degree of an individual’s tolerance. A comprehensive model for forming tolerant consciousness can be adapted to various educational institutions.
