This article analyzes the theoretical and methodological foundations of developing multimodal literacy in English among students studying in technical fields based on an integrative approach. In the rapidly developing educational process, the integration of digital technologies, specialized subjects and foreign language education is an important factor in developing students' professional and communicative competence. The article proposes the theoretical foundations of multimodal literacy, the didactic possibilities of an integrative approach, and a practical methodological model for technical students. It also substantiates methods for the comprehensive development of listening comprehension, reading, writing, speaking and visual information analysis skills through the use of multimodal tools.
